Alex Gontijo
Business Support Manager
As the Business Support Manager, Alexandre plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the agency. Graduated in Business in 2023, Alex provides support to the CEO and leadership team and oversees daily administrative and operational activities, including HR, Finance, and Compliances. With a strong focus on organisational effectiveness and service excellence, Alex drives business planning, coordinates strategic projects, and ensures the delivery of high-quality foster care services.
Alex worked in Brazil with multicultural teams in diverse contexts. He was an active member of AIESEC, an NGO that facilitates international student exchanges to develop leadership skills in young people through cross-cultural volunteer experiences. As part of the programme, he spent two months in Egypt in 2017, promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
Alexandre uses his passion for social & cultural awareness to actively support his co-workers and Origins foster carers in both an enthusiastic but professional manner.
