Claire Kelly
Senior Practitioner, Link Social Worker
Claire holds a Masters in Social Work from UCD (NQSW) and is CORU registered. Prior to working in Origins, Claire worked primarily in Children in Care Teams in Dublin North City, and Dublin South Central as a Social Worker and Senior Practitioner on both CIC teams.
While working with Children in Care, Claire developed an interest in working with teenagers, and in more recent years worked primarily with teens experiencing difficulties with criminality, addiction, mental health and disability needs.
Claire works from a strengths and relationship based social work approach in all aspects of her work.
In recent years Claire sought to upskill in the area of trauma and attachment, and continues to do so (completing DDP Level 1 and commencing Diploma in Developmental Trauma in April 23).
